สรรพคุณ/ข้อบ่งใช้ : Atenolol เป็นยาที่ใช้รักษาโรคความดันโลหิตสูง และยังถูกใช้เพื่อรักษาอาการเจ็บหน้าอกด้วย อีกทั้งยา Atenolol ยังช่วยเพิ่มอัตราการรอดชีวิตในผู้ป่วยที่เกิดภาวะหัวใจวายเฉียบพลัน ด้วยการลดความรุนแรงของการเกิดภาวะหัวใจวายด้วย  

วิธีรับประทาน :

Atenolol มีลักษณะกลม แบน และสีขาว มีขนาด 25 มิลลิกรัม, 50 มิลลิกรัม และ 100 มิลลิกรัม

- ขนาดยาเริ่มต้นสำหรับการใช้รักษาโรคความดันโลหิตสูง เริ่มที่ 50 มิลลิกรัม รับประทานยา 1 เม็ดต่อวันและสามารถเห็นผลของการใช้ยาอย่างเต็มที่หลังจากเริ่มยาไปแล้ว 1-2 สัปดาห์

- สำหรับรักษาอาการเจ็บหน้าอก ขนาดเริ่มต้นในการรักษา อยู่ที่ 50 มิลลิกรัม รับประทานวันละ 1 เม็ด แต่หากไม่ได้ผลการรักษาตามที่ต้องการภายใน 1 สัปดาห์ อาจเพิ่มขนาดยาขึ้นเป็น 100 มิลลิกรัม รับประทานวันละ 1 เม็ด

- ในผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะกล้ามเนื้อหัวใจขาดเลือด จะให้ยานี้ทางเส้นเลือดดำภายในหออภิบาลผู้ป่วยโรคหัวใจ

ยานี้สามารถรับประทานทางปาก ทั้งพร้อมหรือไม่พร้อมกับอาหารก็ได้ ซึ่งมักจะรับประทานวันละ 1-2 ครั้ง ควรหลีกเลี่ยงการดื่มน้ำแอปเปิ้ล หรือน้ำส้มภายใน 4 ชั่วโมงหลังจากการรับประทานยา เนื่องจากน้ำผลไม้จะยับยั้งการดูดซึมของยา

How to eat :

Atenolol is round, flat, and white and comes in sizes of 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg.

- The starting dose for the treatment of high blood pressure starts at 50 mg. Take 1 tablet per day and the full effects of the drug can be seen 1-2 weeks after starting the drug.

- For treating chest pain The starting dose for treatment is 50 mg, taken 1 tablet per day. But if the desired treatment effect is not achieved within 1 week, the dose may be increased to 100 mg, taken 1 tablet per day.

- In patients with myocardial ischemia. This medicine will be given intravenously in the cardiac intensive care unit.

This medicine can be taken by mouth. Either with or without food. This is usually eaten 1-2 times a day. Avoid drinking apple juice. or orange juice within 4 hours after taking the medicine This is because fruit juice will inhibit the absorption of the medicine.
