สรรพคุณ/ข้อบ่งใช้ : ใช้รักษาการติดเชื้อแบคทีเรียหลายชนิด เช่น

- Escherichia coli (E. coli) เป็นเชื้อที่พบในลำไส้ใหญ่ของมนุษย์ ทำให้เกิดการติดเชื้อทางเดินปัสสาวะ และอุจจาระร่วง

- Staphylococcus spp. เป็นเชื้อแบคทีเรียที่อาศัยอยู่ตามผิวหนัง ทำให้แผลเป็นหนอง และผิวหนังอักเสบ

- Streptococcus pneumoniae เป็นสาเหตุของการเกิดโรคปอดบวม ไข้สมองอักเสบ

- Haemophillus influenzae ทำให้เกิดการติดเชื้อทางเดินหายใจ

- Helicobacter pylori ทำให้เกิดแผลในกระเพาะอาหาร

ขนาดการใช้ยา : ขนาดยาที่ใช้ขึ้นอยู่กับชนิด และความรุนแรงของการติดเชื้อ รูปแบบยาที่ใช้ในผู้ใหญ่มีทั้งยาเม็ด และแคปซูล แนะนำให้ดื่มน้ำเปล่าหนึ่งแก้วหลังรับประทานยา และไม่จำเป็นต้องรับประทานพร้อมมื้ออาหาร

- สำหรับรักษาการติดเชื้อหู คอ จมูก 500 มิลลิกรัม ทุก 12 ชั่วโมง หรือ 250 มิลลิกรัม ทุก 8 ชั่วโมง

- สำหรับการติดเชื้อรุนแรง 875 มิลลิกรัม ทุก 12 ชั่วโมงหรือ 500 มิลลิกรัม ทุก 8 ชั่วโมงหรือ 750-1,000 มิลลิกรัม 3 ครั้งต่อวัน (ขึ้นอยู่กับความรุนแรงของการติดเชื้อ)

- ติดเชื้อระบบทางเดินปัสสาวะ 3 กรัม หรือ 3,000 มิลลิกรัม 2 ครั้งต่อวัน

Properties/Indications: Used to treat many types of bacterial infections such as

- Escherichia coli (E. coli) is a bacteria found in the human large intestine. causing urinary tract infections and diarrhea

- Staphylococcus spp. is a bacteria that lives on the skin. cause the wound to pus and dermatitis

- Streptococcus pneumoniae is the cause of pneumonia. encephalitis

- Haemophillus influenzae causes respiratory infections.

- Helicobacter pylori causes stomach ulcers.

Dosage of medicine : The amount of medicine used depends on the type. and the severity of the infection. The dosage forms used in adults include tablets and capsules. It is recommended to drink a glass of water after taking the medication. and does not need to be taken with meals

- For treating ear, nose, and throat infections: 500 mg every 12 hours or 250 mg every 8 hours.

- For severe infections : 875 mg every 12 hours or 500 mg every 8 hours or 750-1,000 mg 3 times a day (depending on the severity of the infection).

- Urinary tract infections : 3 grams or 3,000 milligrams 2 times a day.
