Losartan (ลอซาร์แทน) คือ ยาลดความดันโลหิตประเภทหนึ่ง ซึ่งออกฤทธิ์ทำให้หลอดเลือดขยายตัว และทำให้เลือดหมุนเวียนได้ดีขึ้น ซึ่งมักใช้รักษาผู้ป่วยความดันโลหิตสูง ช่วยลดความเสี่ยงการเกิดเส้นเลือดในสมองแตกหรือตีบตันในผู้ป่วยโรคหัวใจ หรือลดความเสียหายของไตในผู้ป่วยเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 ที่มีภาวะความดันโลหิตสูงร่วมด้วย

ปริมาณการใช้ยา Losartan :

การใช้ยา Losartan เพื่อรักษาภาวะความดันโลหิตสูง

- ผู้ใหญ่ รับประทานยา วันละครั้ง ครั้งละ 50 มิลลิกรัม หรือแพทย์อาจเพิ่มเป็น 100 มิลลิกรัม วันละครั้ง หรือ แบ่งเป็น 2 ครั้ง/วัน

- ผู้สูงอายุที่อายุมากกว่า 75 ปี เริ่มให้ยาจาก 25 มิลลิกรัม/วัน

- เด็กอายุตั้งแต่ 6 ปีขึ้นไป และมีน้ำหนักตัวในช่วง 20-50 กิโลกรัม เริ่มให้ยาจาก 0.7 มิลลิกรัม/น้ำหนักตัวเป็นกิโลกรัม และให้ยาไม่เกิน 50 มิลลิกรัม/วัน

- เด็กอายุตั้งแต่ 6 ปีขึ้นไป และมีน้ำหนักตัวมากกว่า 50 กิโลกรัม เริ่มให้ยาจาก 1.4 มิลลิกรัม/น้ำหนักตัวเป็นกิโลกรัม และให้ยาไม่เกิน 100 มิลลิกรัม/วัน

การใช้ยา Losartan เพื่อลดความเสียหายของไตในผู้ป่วยเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2

- ผู้ใหญ่ เริ่มจาก รับประทานยา วันละครั้ง ครั้งละ 50 มิลลิกรัม หรือแพทย์อาจเพิ่มเป็น 100 มิลลิกรัม วันละครั้ง ทั้งนี้ ขึ้นอยู่กับการตอบสนองของระดับความดันโลหิต

- ผู้สูงอายุที่อายุมากกว่า 75 ปี เริ่มให้ยาจาก 25 มิลลิกรัม/วัน

การใช้ยา Losartan เพื่อรักษาภาวะหัวใจวาย

- ผู้ใหญ่ เริ่มจาก รับประทานยา วันละครั้ง ครั้งละ 12.5 มิลลิกรัม แล้วอาจเพิ่มเป็นเท่าตัว (25 มิลลิกรัม/วัน) สัปดาห์ละครั้ง จากนั้น ให้ยารักษาคงที่ ที่ปริมาณยา 50 มิลลิกรัม วันละครั้ง ปริมาณยาสูงสุดต้องไม่เกิน 150 มิลลิกรัม/วัน

It helps reduce the risk of stroke or narrowing in patients with heart disease or reduces kidney damage in people with type 2 diabetes who also have high blood pressure.

Properties/Indications for use : Treat high blood pressure. Helps blood circulate better.

Dosage of Losartan :

Losartan is used to treat high blood pressure.

- Adults take the medicine once a day, 50 milligrams at a time, or the doctor may increase it to 100 milligrams once a day or divide it into 2 times/day.

- Elderly people over 75 years old : start dose from 25 mg/day.

- Children aged 6 years and older and with a body weight in the range of 20-50 kilograms, start dose from 0.7 mg/kilogram of body weight. and dose not exceed 50 mg/day.

- Children aged 6 years and older and weighing more than 50 kilograms, start dose from 1.4 mg/kilogram of body weight. and dose not exceed 100 mg/day.

Losartan is used to reduce kidney damage in people with type 2 diabetes.
