ยาเซทริซิน(Cetrizine) คือยาแอนตี้ฮิสตามีน (antihistamine) กลุ่มที่ง่วงน้อย (non-sedating antihistamine)

สรรพคุณ/ข้อบ่งใช้ :

- อาการแพ้ทางจมูกหรือภูมิแพ้อากาศ ที่มีอาการคันจมูก จาม น้ำมูกไหล 

- อาการแพ้ทางผิวหนังหรือผื่นแพ้ ลมพิษ ที่มีอาการคัน เป็นตุ่ม ผื่น ตามผิวหนัง 

เซทริซีน(Cetrizine)สามารถลดอาการคันได้เร็วกว่าเมื่อเทียบกับยาต้านฮีสตามีนรุ่นที่ 2 ตัวอื่นในกลุ่มเดียวกัน เนื่องจากยาออกฤทธิ์เร็วกว่า โดยยาจะออกฤทธิ์หลังจากทานเข้าไปแล้ว 15-60 นาที ในขณะที่บางตัวในกลุ่มเดียวกัน เช่น loratadine อาจต้องใช้เวลา 1-3 ชั่วโมงกว่าจะออกฤทธิ์
